The Real 'Ross' Report
Hello EBW fans sorry the lack of updates to my column
but as they say your
health comes first which lead me on to my first point in my column. I cannot
begin to say how much I appreciate the support and help I have had
throughout the last year from EBW official's wrestlers and fans. It
certainly has been a roller coaster ride over the last 12 months.
It all started on the day of the rebel remembered I had
a normal drugs test
after what I certainly consider the greatest match of my career against TSM
infront a capacity crowd in one of the most shocking yet brilliant angles
ever seen in backyard wrestling.
Soon after I started feeling ill which I put down to
wrestling in the rain
and mud for the best part of 40 minutes but it got worse and worse where it
felt like I had the flu for up to a month. When my results came back it was
discovered that I had an inner ear imbalance. So what I said and continued
to wrestler as EBW champ for the next free months leading up to Magaluf
Mayhem.
Whilst on the tour I found it impossible to get out my
bed not because of
excess drink like the scheme or lack of sleep I just didn't have the energy.
When I got home I continued to wrestle not because I was fit but just
because the company wasn't in any position to lose its champion and another
star (more of which later).
Three days after down and out where TSM took over from
me as champ as pass
over which was indeed a bad piece of t.v but it had to be done as I could
barely stand never mind wrestle!!!!!!!!!!! and as anyone how watches EBW
was there anyone else in a position to take the title? Anyway the doctors
asked for an immediate meeting with me and was told that I had been
diagnosed with Labyrinthiritis. So for 3 months I had to sit in the house
doing nothing, which was of course great fun (right Shaun?). Finally in
early July after a series of tests in hospital I have been given the ok to
return to the ring in a full time capacity. IM now in big tome training
mode with a new fitness regime under way. I'm also planning to get back down
to my perfect fighting weight which I was at the Rebel remembered so far I've
lose 10 pounds in two weeks not for a guy with such big bones.
One piece of luck that has gone my way recently is the
prezs decision to
call a halt to EBW for a couple of months. I know a lot of fans were upset
by this but I am 100% behind her decision. Money unlike ECW isn't a problem
Hoghill Towers practically pays for its self thanks to a secret Russian
backer and as long as Shaun's computer works then were always going to stay
afloat no problem. The problem is we are low in personnel as it is so when
Shauny Kerrang that horrible injury and I was told to stop. We only had
really TSM in reserve and it's not exactly as secret that he has been
putting off surgery for months. So instead of making things worse we are
taking time of so when we return Me TSM and Kerrang will all be back to our
best.
As I mentioned before we are low on personnel at the
moment and have had our
fingers burned in the past by hiring guys who were simply not up to the job
i.e. Mr. Gunn. Recently we were I negotiation with some guys who I considered
to have as much potential as I thought Shauny Kerrang did when I discovered
him the problem is simply not just money but a career in backyard wrestling
isn't a job with career security and most guys have full time careers outside
wrestling (I'm in the financial world these days, Scoot Dogg is studying
politics whilst TSM is hoping to start a modeling career) these guys just
aren't sure if its worth risking their full time career and to be honest I
don't blame them.
A Lot people have been asking me my view on many different
subjects and to
save me the hassle I'm going to list my views on the following people or
subjects!!!!!!!
Musso Know don't get me wrong he's a decent enough bloke
and I like
enthusiasm as much as the next man but this boy is overly keen and it ain't
doing him any good. Last time we heard for him he was trying to get a gig at
some past it over 45 wrestling show. Calm down pal your only 16 learn your
trade in EBW like the rest of us before you do something stupid.
BJWP Know everyone knows that competition is good for
you and when I heard
that there was another fed packing people into backgardens I was pleased
even more so hen Musso came over and got everyone interested in Backyard
wrestling again. Then I took a trip over to a BJWP event and I have never
been so disgusted by wrestling in my life. Young girls and I mean YOUNG
girls stripping, Appalling wrestling, Under age crowds. If that's the market
they aim for that's their problem but leave the real stuff to the big boys
in EBW.
Stephen Boyle For years me TSM and MoZZ stuck up for
him! Got him invited
to all the right parties by all the right people. Got him a job in the first
ever SWO when he failed miserably as a wrestler we gave him a job as a
commentator. Most of all when he cane out about his homosexuality we stuck
by him while others taunted and abused him. Remember that Stephen? Thanks
for repaying out loyalty to us. I never thought I would say this but I hope
you die a slow horrible aids related death!!!!!
MoZZ Its not exactly a secret
that me and MoZZ hated each other on and off
screen. But know I just feel sorry for him he has lost everything in the
backyard game for nothing he doesn't have to deal with the fame money and
sex that me and TSM have and yet he still couldn't handle it. He has know
been reduced to being TSM bag handler!!!!!
The Mission When we first started appearing their it
was amazing!!!! Don't
get me wrong its still good and it beats wrestling at Cub Earth any day. But
the buzz of excitement has gone the crowd has changed into trendies with
eminem T-shirts there used to be such a great atmosphere. But as long as
they still want us ( Unless someone else offers a better night out!!) we
will continue to appear there
Thanks for your support
